Open Adoption
What does that term mean to us? It means that we can cooperatively make decisions regarding the openness of our adoption. If you want, we would be happy to exchange emails, phone calls, and planned visits at neutral locations. We would also be happy to write letters, exchange photos, and keep you informed about the baby's progress and development. We hope that our child's biological family will correspond with us as well. We feel that our relationship with our child's biological family will be like any other relationship- as time passes, we will get to know each other better so that we will be able to better assess the appropriate level of involvement in each others' lives. We feel that our child can only benefit from being loved by as many people as possible. Of course, we will respect and understand your decision if you would like the adoption to remain closed.

-Ed and Patty: Malone's Dad and Mom. Ed served an English speaking mission to Seattle, Washington. They live in Illinois.
-Coy: Coy is Malone's younger brother. He served an English speaking mission to St. Louis, Missouri. He lives in Illinois.
-Patrick: Patrick is Malone's younger brother. He lives in Illinois.
-Billie and Jared: Billie is Malone's younger sister and she is married to Jared. They have two boys named Cole and Jared Michael. They live in Illinois.
-Fred and Beth: Fred is Malone's younger brother and he is married to Beth. They live in Illinois.

-Dan and Nancy: Brittany's Dad and Mom. Dan served an English speaking mission to Palmyra, New York. They live in Nevada.
-Rachel and Johnny: Rachel is Brittany's older sister and she is married to Johnny. They have one daughter named Tianna and two sons named Caelin and Kieren. They have another little one one the way. They live in Utah.
-Spencer and Karen: Spencer is Brittany's older brother and he is married to Karen. Spencer served a Spanish speaking mission to Malaga, Spain. Spencer and Karen have three daughters named Emma, Evelyn, and Kate. They live in England.
-Terra and Glenn: Terra is Brittany's older sister and she is married to Glenn. She has two stepsons named Yuri, Corbin, two daughters named Morwyn and Rhiannon, and two sons named Ehron and Jaydon. Terra placed Jaydon for adoption with his amazing adoptive parents after his birth in 2007. Terra and Glenn live in Utah.
-Jaron and Cindy: Jaron is Brittany's older brother and he is married to Cindy. Jaron served a Vietnamese and Spanish speaking mission to Anaheim, California. Jaron and Cindy have one son named Kaden and a daughter named Kaylee. They live in Utah.
-Garth and Laura: Garth is Brittany's older brother and he is married to Laura. Garth served a Spanish speaking mission to Mission, Texas. They live in Utah.
-Bryce: Bryce is Brittany's younger brother. He is currently serving a Spanish speaking mission in Phoenix, Arizona. He lives in Arizona. Bryce and Craig are fraternal twins.
